Creating our "School Parliament
How it all began!: In October 2023, we informed our students that we would be participating as a partner school in the KA210 project "School Parliament". Our students were excited and immediately began working on the logo competition. Once our students had created their logos, we voted for the best one. Next, all the schools in the program voted for the best logo. They were then thrilled to find out that the logo of our school was the final selection for the project.
Elections: After the meeting in Spain, we informed our students that it was finally time to form their own School Parliament!
Step 1 - They submitted their nominations (19/2/2024).
Step 2 - They held their pre-election campaign until the 6th of March
Step 3 - On the 8th of March 2024 it was finally Election day!!!
Our first meeting as a School Parliament was held on the 12/03/24. Students got to know each other better, since they were from different grades and classes. They exchanged thoughts, concerns, and suggestions on the three topics of the project: Environment, Bullying and Mental Health, and Improving School Facilities/Experience.
Second elections - School year 2024 -2025
In June 2024, many members of our School Parliament graduated, making it necessary to hold elections to form a new School Parliament for the current school year.
Because we hosted our project's mobility here in Limassol in October, followed by another Erasmus+ mobility in December, we had to postpone the elections until the beginning of January—something we all anticipated with joy.

Our meetings: Once a month, we held a meeting with the student members of our School Parliament, where they discussed topics related to their school community. We also held online meetings once a month with the members of the other school parliaments to discuss the same topics.

Positive Results: The students from each school have the opportunity to participate in something so creative and important for the development of the school:
- Participation of students in the democratic process
- Students taking initiative and discussing various topics
- Creating strong bonds within our School Parliament
- Working towards positive changes aimed at a better future for our schools
Best part of 2024-2025 School Parliament
- We created bonds with members of the other school parliaments and got to know each other online
- We had more frequent meetings, with a larger number of participants
- We also gave students outside of the European School Parliament the chance to express their opinions and share their ideas regarding the project's topics and their school's future, through questionnaires or online polls.
Future Goals
Students are full of dreams and goals, and with the help and the support of their teachers, Parents Association they can make them true and implement them
